12u green salvages split against Lou Gehrig

DP's 12u Green opened up their season with a split against Lou Gehrig.

12u Green Hurricanes dropped a heart breaker in game 1 by a score of 6-5. DP's potential tying run was throw out at the plate to end the game. Solid pitching performances by Dominic DelVecchio and JonVito D'Agostino. Connor Harby lead the offense with a hit and an RBI.

In game 2 the Hurricanes rebounded for a convincing 10-6 win to salvage the split. Sam O'Neil carried the offense with 3 hits and 4 Runs batted in.

12u Green will be on the road this weekend traveling to take on the Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles in a doubleheader on Sunday.
