How long have you been with Diamond Pro?

I played with Diamond Pro for my last three years of summer ball and I have worked with Matt ever since I was 10

How has Diamond Pro helped you get to where you are today?

Diamond Pro has been incredibly helpful and I cannot thank them enough. They have taught me new skills and helped me to improve on them ever since I began playing travel ball. Deciding to be a part of this organization and family was one of the best baseball decisions I have ever made. The exposure and the experience of every single coach in the program helped me grow and mature as a ball player. They have always been here for me and will continue to do so as I take my next steps in my baseball career.

Any advice to the younger kids in our program?

A piece of advice for younger players is that if you really have a goal of playing college baseball or beyond you have to put the work in. Playing at the next level does not come easily. The players that put the work in and grind are those who continue to succeed. Not only should you work hard but encourage your teammates to work hard too. Surrounding yourself with those that have the same goal as you is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

What made you choose your school?

What made me choose Hartford was the amazing atmosphere not only of the campus but with the baseball program. The campus made me feel right at home and I could tell that the coaches were very interested in me. It’s a good feeling knowing that you are going to a program that really wants you and takes an interest in you from the first day you contact them.

What are you most looking forward to about college baseball?

What I’m looking forward to most is the increased work ethic and the jump in competitiveness. Every single player is fighting for a spot and pushing each other to be their best. By surrounding myself with teammates like that, at the next level, will only make me a better player and understand the game more. I couldn’t be more excited to get to Hartford and start my next chapter in baseball and in school.
